Mesa Burger is the collaboration of a neighborhood, who along with award-winning chef Cat Cora, visionary Chris Chiarappa, and manager Pixie Saavedra, have created a place that offers you something different. Designed with the heart and soul to reflect the casual goodness that we are accustomed to, Mesa Burger is your new family table.
We offer gourmet, handcrafted burgers, farm fresh salads, locally-brewed beers, Santa Barbara County wine, and ice cream in scoops, hand-spun shakes, and ice cream cookie sandwiches. Our produce is sustainably grown, ingredients are conscientiously sourced, and sauces are made fresh daily. The beef burgers are fresh, locally produced USDA Choice custom blend, served on a brioche bun. We also have a selection of turkey, chicken, fish, vegan / vegetarian burger
Cat Cora is the taste of Mesa Burger. Cat trained in France at two three-star Michelin restaurants before blazing her own trail through the culinary world as the first female Iron Chef on Food Network’s “Iron Chef America” in 2005, and as the first female inducted into The Culinary Hall of Fame. Currently Cat is the judge on ABC’s “Family Food Fight.” Cat’s life-long passion for quality food is matched only by her desire to give back to the Santa Barbara neighborhood where she resides with her wife, Nicole and their 6 sons.

Chris Chiarappa is the visionary and inspiration for Mesa Burger. The driving force behind Chris’ motivation for this project is to give back to the community and the amazing people that make it special. Mesa Burger is a reflection of the California lifestyle that Chris, his family, and their neighbors live everyday.
Mesa Burger Regional Manager Pixie Saavedra’s restaurant experience spans more than 20 years. Pixie blends her experience with an incredibly strong work ethic, a very natural customer-focused approach and a wonderful, engaging personality.
Chef Aimee Di Mase joined the Mesa Burger team in the summer of 2017, and it was soon quite obvious that she was suited for a position as a kitchen lead. She arrived at Mesa Burger with more than 10 years in the industry certified through graduation from the highly acclaimed culinary program at Santa Barbara City College. Her position experience includes Pastry Chef at Santa Barbara’s well-known restaurant, Bouchon, as well as Lead Cook at Sides Hardware and Shoes, a Brothers restaurant in Los Olivos. We are incredibly fortunate to have Chef Aimee leading the Mesa Burger kitchens!
